We would like to welcome Dr. Richard Novak as our new Director of Music. Richard recently moved to Fort Worth with his family, and comes to us with over 30 years of music ministry experience. Richard is on the voice faculty at TCU and at UNT. He holds a BM & MM in Vocal Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University and a DMA in Vocal Performance from UNT. A professional operatic tenor, Richard still actively performs opera, oratorio, recital, and concert repertoire throughout the US and internationally. Richard and his wife Laura have 3 kids (Derek-26, Ava-19, & Liam-12) and 2 granddaughters (Kayla & Kamryn).

Richard is very excited about his new position at Westminster Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he loves to travel, cook new recipes for his family, and listen to Pavarotti/Sinatra/Ella Fitzgerald. His favorite composers are Franz Liszt and Benjamin Britten. He hopes to elevate the music ministry at Westminster by building up the singing/playing/musicianship in the ensembles.
