Session was thrilled with the infant/child baptisms of Ryan Dyer, Lincoln Hurd and Cooper Varnon on August 1, and of Carter DeCarion on August 8 and looks forward to that of Jaegar Williams on September 5.

The August 15 is Sunday school kick-off was a success and Session encourages all members and their children to attend a Sunday school class to learn more about the Bible, Presbyterians, our church and ourselves.

August 22 the Presbyterian 101 Class begins for anyone interested in Presbyterians at large and at Westminster. Topics covered include history of Presbyterians and of our church, theology, sacraments, polity, committee structure and things particular to Westminster.

Session has rescheduled the Congregation Meeting of August 15 and calls a Congregational Meeting on August 22 following the 11 a.m. worship service for the purpose of electing one member to the 2010 Nominating Committee to replace Bob Hall.

August 22 is Youth Sunday.
Proceeds from the October 8 and 9 Garage Sale will go to the Air Conditioner Fund.
The October Session meeting has been rescheduled to October 26.
The Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. with set-up beginning at 2:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed; please contact Robi McAllister

Session challenges our membership to join us in daily prayer that God will guide each of us in ways of outreach to our membership and to our community in continuing and new manners of love and service.

Please join us in our commitment to recycle all our household paper (no cardboard) in the bin behind our church garage.

Please note that the entrance doors to the new wing will be locked at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings for security reasons. The main entrance doors closest to the sanctuary will remain open.
